Three Males and Me - 39"WX21 1/2"H (NFS)

This quilt started with the idea of one woman (me, a wife and mother) living with three males, my husband and two sons. As a situation with some inherent tension and conflict my life with three males required a certain give and take, flexibility, and interplay between the sexes. In my house “T.M.T.” meant “Too Much Testosterone”! Hence my use of three shades of blue, which represent the men in my life and the gold silk fabric, which represents me, surrounded but not subsumed by the blue, the colors complementing and complimenting each other really. Coexistence is possible, but perhaps not easy.
